It was just three years ago, while at the YMCA, that God called Wellspring to sacrifice so that we could create A Place to Call Home. We are celebrating the end of our 3-year journey of sacrificial giving as a church on December 10th.
Whether you’ve been coming to Wellspring for a long time or this past Sunday was your first, we want to invite you to join us in this celebration and this journey!
We invite you to join us as we finish this movement of supernatural living and sacrificial giving. We were all designed to make an eternal impact. Now is our chance! Read and pray through this information with the intent of asking God how He wants you to partner with Wellspring in A Place To Call Home as we finish strong.
What is A Place To Call Home?
A Place To Call Home is a 3 year journey of supernatural living and sacrificial giving that started in December of 2014. We started this journey asking everyone who calls Wellspring home to commit to give above and beyond their regular giving for 3 years to help us move into a permanent facility.
By making this sacrifice together, we have seen God do amazing things through our church and our new location as we continue to see more people far from God become passionate followers of Jesus Christ.
Finish Strong: Why is this important?
We are glad you asked that question!
When we began this journey, our church promised to raise $1,000,000 above and beyond our regular giving over the course of 3 years. We are so close to the end of this journey but we aren't there yet!
It is crucial that we finish strong, so that we are able to position ourselves to be ready for what God wants to do in the future. Reaching our goal for this journey allows us to finish what we committed to do as a church, and also establishes credibility with financial institutions for future growth and borrowing needs.
We can finish strong together! Prayerfully consider how you can bring your best gift towards A Place To Call Home on December 10th.
What You Can Do
Pray
There is no better time to join in than now as we finish this 3 year supernatural journey of sacrificial living and giving. Simply ask God what He wants you to do to help us finish this journey strong. Allow this to be a supernatural sacrifice born out of your time with God. Be confident that He will provide for you.
Prepare
Prepare your heart as we celebrate what God has done here! Our church has taken a bold leap of faith and we pray as you participate you would walk in the confidence that as God asks, He will give you the strength you need to fulfill your own leap of faith.
Participate
Participate on December 10th during our A Place to Call Home celebration. Help us finish well by bringing your best gift as we thank God for all He has done here and all He is going to do!

Simply text “Home” and the amount you would like to give to (843)-561-4134.
For example if you wanted to donate $50 to A Place to Call Home, you would text “Home 50”. The first time you use Text to Give you’ll be asked to confirm your information and account.HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM MY TITHE?
Wellspring Church’s vision is that those far from God become passionate followers of Christ, so please continue to bring your tithe in addition to the gifts God leads you to give to create A Place to Call Home. When there is an exciting opportunity like this, God asks us to go above and beyond the tithe, which is the minimum worship requirement.
In the bible, there were times when God’s people came together to give above and beyond their faithful giving to the local church. This is a great example of sacrificial’ giving.
