About Emily Cooley
Emily was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a child, Emily remembers playing school in her mothers special education classroom and asking for teachers textbooks and a lesson plan book for her 5th birthday. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology.
Emily remembers attending Wellspring for the first time in December of 2009, and feeling as though they had found the place God had for them. Emily has always had a passion for children and families. She has used that passion to lead and love the children and families of Wellspring through our kids environments for as long as she can remember. Emily currently serves as our Wellspring Kids Ministry Coordinator which allows her to combine her professional knowledge and experience with her passion for kids and families.
Emily and her husband Keith have been married for almost 15 years and they have two children, Caroline and Carter.
