Connection Assistant
Summary of Position:
To assist the Connection Pastor with all areas of responsibility. This position will also serve as an office presence during the week by receiving deliveries, answering phones and helping keep office area clean and presentable.

Areas of Responsibility:
Students:
- Coordinates with Student Host Team to make sure everything needed for weekly meetings is prepared for including all needed supplies for food
- Prepares any supplies needed for activities planned
- Enters contact information of new students and coordinates weekly communication to them
- Maintains yearly calendar setting reminders planning purposes
- Plays a role in the creative process thinking through upcoming events and activities
- Assists in the planning of Summer activities
Community Groups:
- Coordinates monthly meetings between Connection Pastor and CG leaders
- Gathers attendance reports from CG meetings
- Coordinates supplies needed for trainings held each year including food, print, decor
- Coordinates supplies needed for CG sign up events
Community Partnership:
- Assist in the planning and execution of Love Weekend/Week including all supplies needed, communication to Volunteers and Project Leaders
- Assist with researching new Community Partnerships
Connection:
- Assists with the assimilation process including follow up and coordination of NEXT
- Coordinates Blue Room Volunteers
- Coordinates supplies needed for Volunteer Sign up event
Misc:
- Manages calendar and schedules meetings for Connection Pastor
- Helps ensure that Sunday is set up for success in order to connect with people

Financial and Administrative Assistant
Purpose:
To assist the Lead Pastor’s assistant and Wellspring’s accounting firm with all areas of financial responsibility, office management and assist with special events. To serve as an office presence during the week by receiving deliveries, answering phones and helping keep office area clean and presentable.
Reports to:
Abbie Beachy, Executive Assistant
Areas of Responsibility:
Financial:
- Inputs weekly offering and takes deposits to bank twice a week.
- Sends appropriate reports on Monday morning to Lead and Connection Pastor.
- Helps with counting team management.
- Coordinates with Accounting Firm to develop, maintain and manage proper systems of reporting and recording income and expense activity.
- Assists with reconciling at the end of the month.
- Properly code and input receipts.
- Coordinates payment terms with vendors. Makes necessary and approved payments as needed.
- Assist team with budget questions and notifications.
- Spreadsheet production and creation as needed.
- Assists in generating and distributing quarterly and year-end giving statements.
Special Events:
- Assist with coordinating special events with the Executive Assistant.
- Coordinate communication between departments as necessary during planning and execution of special event.
- Coordinate and organize volunteers.
Admin/Office:
- Coordinates with other assistant(s) to ensure office is always staffed during operating hours. Coordinates and calendars any changes or days off to the schedule.
- Assists with managing office calendar.
- Inventories and purchases office supplies and helps keep purchases within budget.
- Checks mail at the post office twice a week and daily at the office.
- Returns phone calls as needed and able to provide basic information to phone and email requests or forward to appropriate department head/assistant.
- Occasional errand running as necessary.
