While we are not able to meet at church each Wednesday we want Students to be involved as much as they feel comfortable. We are encouraging Students to join their Tribes to discuss our each new series. Videos will be posted weekly on our Student YouTube page here.
We all have a tendency to hate on others. We can be pretty quick to judge. In a lot of ways, we thrive on it! Because we live in a world that loves to hate. The problem? We were made for a different kind of world—a world designed for love, not hate. But loving others isn’t always easy. How do we love people who drive us crazy? How do we tell someone the truth without sounding like a hater? How do we love the unlovable? In this series, we’ll explore what it looks like to lead with love rather than judgement and make a move toward landing on the right side of the line between love and hate.
This is a trying time to navigate. Here are some resources that might help you have necessary conversations with your Student.
Regular Meeting Format
One of our core values at Wellspring is that We Believe Circles Are Better than Rows. Because we believe this, we think it’s important that our Students, like our adults, be in Community Groups or Tribes, to help them learn from each other. Here we take time to build friendships, answer tough questions, and help our students grow in their faith.
Tribe Night is Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00 at the church. We gather, have fun, eat good food and then move to a large group experience where we hear a message about a relevant topic. The rest of the night is spent in Tribes discussing the topic and building connections! Tribes are broken down by grade and sex.
