I started attending Wellspring on Easter Sunday. Pastor Trey’s service moved me to tears and I decided that day it was time to open my heart back up to Christ. My life had become consumed with making bad choices and trying to handle everything on my own. All of that pressure had really been weighing on me emotionally and physically, but after pledging to release all of my burdens to God that Easter Sunday, my life started moving in a positive direction. I prayed for God to start making my choices because I was obviously making all the wrong ones. What do you know he did!
Recently I had been in the hospital for a mini stroke and unfortunately did not have any insurance. I was waiting for all of the thousands of dollars of bills to start rolling in, but instead, a few days ago, I received a letter from the hospital saying my stay was paid free and clear. God heard my prayers and answered them! The funny thing is I didn’t pray for money, I prayed for God to carry my burdens and that letter took a huge one off my shoulders. That told me, when you leave it to God, He will give you what you need 🙂
