About April Colquett
April was born and raised in Jacksonville, AL. She later attended Auburn University where she earned a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. April met her husband Eric on a blind date and they have been married for 13 years and have 3 children. They moved to Myrtle Beach in 2010 from Fort Worth, TX and immediately fell in love with the beach life! They love spending time together at the beach, watching movies, or sitting around a campfire roasting marshmallows.
April is currently serving as the Wellspring Kids team coordinator. She has been teaching and leading kids of all ages for almost 2 decades. She has a passion for seeing children grow into a life of faith and develop a love for church. April also enjoys working closely with parents and empowering them to be their child’s spiritual leader.
In her spare time you can find April reading a good book, shopping, or eating ice-cream!
