There is no greater joy than to know that you were used by God in a way that had an eternal impact. That’s what volunteering is all about; it’s an opportunity to use the gifts and talents that you have been given to partner with God to transform lives.
We know that getting involved in the local church community is the best way to experience one of our core values, “We believe circles are better than rows.” Our volunteer teams are thriving circles at Wellspring that allow our church to step into its full potential while having a lot of fun doing it! Wellspring Kids is one of our most vital ministries. We strive to create an irresistible environment that leaves kids begging their parents to go to church each Sunday. In order to accomplish this goal, we’re looking for influencers who love kids and have the desire to connect and make a difference in the next generation. Whether it’s on our check-in team, cuddling babies or leading a circle of grade schoolers, there are many ways you can help us reach children and families across the Grand Strand with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
Make a difference in the life of a 6th-12th grade student, by joining the Wellspring Students team! Whether you’re welcoming students, leading a Tribe, helping create an engaging environment, or serving behind the scenes, there’s a place for you. You don’t have to have all the answers—you just need to be willing to show up, build relationships, and help students feel safe, seen, heard, and loved as they grow in their relationship with Jesus
If you have experience in live production or just want to get started, you can join our production team. Each week our production team puts on a world class presentation and sends it out across the planet! Whether you’re interested in lighting, audio, computer graphics, video, or all of it, we can teach you and you can join us in reaching thousands of people each week.
At Wellspring we believe You Belong! Our Guest Service team serves joyfully to make our guests feel like they are home. We’d love to have you join our team today!
If you like to work behind the scenes, this team is for you. Each week we set the building for Sunday morning and this team gets it all done. This includes setting up for events, getting print material ready, preparing for baptism, Love Week and other church-wide events.
If you take pride in our home looking it’s best, this team is for you! We paint, clean, build and set the stage for Sunday mornings! We’d love to have you join this team of doers!
The Environments Team helps create welcoming, intentional, and engaging spaces where people can connect with God and others. From the moment someone enters our building, this team works to ensure our environments are clean, inviting, functional, and aligned with the mission of Wellspring Church.
The team helps oversee the look, feel, organization, and readiness of our spaces—from lobbies and gathering areas to ministry environments and special events. Whether improving a space, preparing for a Sunday, or creating an environment for a special event, the goal is simple: remove distractions and create spaces that help people feel welcomed, comfortable, and ready to engage
Have a heart for this generation? Young Adults is looking for mentors and people who love Jesus, have lived some life, and genuinely care about helping young adults find community, grow in faith, and navigate what they’re walking through. You don’t need to have every leadership skill already figured out. If you care about the 18-29 year old generation, are willing to show up consistently, and can be genuine and present, we can help with the rest.
Our Safety and Parking Team creates a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for everyone at Wellspring. Team members assist with parking, security, first-response medical needs, and overall safety, helping ensure that guests and volunteers have a smooth experience. While primarily focused on Sunday mornings, this team also serves during Students, Semester Groups, and special events.
Our Love MB team works with our community partners to ensure they have what they need to do what they do best. This team works together to plan Love Weekends, service projects and stay connected with the people in our community that do whatever it takes to show God’s love to those that need it most!
